Last Sunday was grilling day at a family gathering. I had pork in the fridge which we bought in Sweden. So I marinaded it with Maine maple syrup, garlic, Worcestershire's sauce, thyme....wrapped around with bacon.
1/2 or 1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
salt & ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
dash cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons Maine Maple Syrup
Worcestershire's sauce
1/2 tablespoon any citrus (optional)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1/2 inch slices
In a container combine the first 10 ingredients. Add pork and mix well. Then wrap each marinade pork with bacon. Place back in container, covered, refrigerate, and let marinade for 2 hours. Grill or cook in a non stick skillet.
At what degree are you supposed to cook this at and for how long?
ReplyDeleteI just made these for family BBQ. One of my family memebers had grilled them for about 15 mintues on a grill (flipping once). I sliced into 5 portion so it would cook faster too.
DeleteInstead of grilling, you could sear bacon wrapped pork tenderloin in a large skillet. Before searing, preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lay the bacon wrapped into the frying pan, seam down. Sear for couple minutes on each side before placing in the oven.
Let the bacon wrap pork roast for 25+ minutes. Take the roast out of the oven and set on a rack, leave uncovered for about 10 minutes before slicing.
Hope it works out.
