Peanut Butter Cornflake Treats

Peanut Butter Cornflake Treats topped with strawberry jam. These are so yummy, addicting, and easy to make. I don't make these often but today was a day to celebrate.

1 cup. sugar
1 cup light syrup because they don't sell corn syrup in Norwegian grocery stores.
1 1/2 cups peanut butter (I used Skippy which cost me an arm and leg)
5 cups. cornflakes
Homemade strawberry jam or use store bought.

Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Remove from heat immediately and stir in peanut butter until melted. Add cornflakes and stir. Mixture will be stiff. Pour mixture onto wax paper and shape into large square. I put in a large baking dish and refridgerater for 15 minutes to get harden. Then I topped with strawberry jam and cut into squares. ( I added a little caramel sauce with the peanut butter mixture, taste so good)
